INDUSTRIAL MANPOWER DEVELOPMENT

Skills enhancement training programs for Malaysia’s downstream oil and gas industry workforce, to meet the manpower requirements of the industry in Pengerang Integrated Petroleum Complex (PIPC) and nationwide.

Objectives

  • Equip Malaysian manpower with the right skillsets and technical competency for the downstream oil and gas, petrochemical and chemical industries.
  • Improve job marketability, employability, and higher wages for Malaysian manpower in the downstream oil and gas, petrochemical and chemical industries.
  • Ensure the availability of skilled and competent Malaysian manpower, reducing dependency on foreign labours.

  • Malaysian manpower looking to refresh or upgrade their skillsets and competencies.
  • New job seekers needing technical certification.
  • Young Malaysians, especially those from the moderate-and low-income background, seeking jobs in the downstream oil and gas industry.
